Holy crap! We have to give a special thanks to the Elbow Room in Chicago and to all of our fans who came out to see us! It was packed! It was jammin! It was one hell of a time! We will be back later in the summer for our tour! Again thanks everyone! Keep reading as we will be posting a tour schedule soon. Its been awesome and we have so much more coming this summer!

All of our fans in Chicago, here is your chance! We are coming to Chi-town for the weekend scouting venues and shows! We are playing April 27th at Elboo Room at 8pm $7.00 at the door! Elbo room is an awesome venue that has live music 7 nights a week! We are planning a summer tour and this might be a great place to play if we have a good turn out! If you are in the Chicago land area come and see us!

peoples turns into the temporary downtown location of ak o’connors on st pats day !!! open at noon and part of the aks party shuttle route – beaverdale and west des moines locations open @ 6am and the shuttle starts rotating the 3 locations at 2pm and runs every 20min to each spot – live music at beaverdale location – brian congdon 4-7pm tony bohnenkamp 8-11pm west des moines – steve slate 4-7pm damon dotson 10- close and downtown – sweatpants rocket in the backstage bar and decoy in the event room both kickin it around 8 to ? aks west des moines parking lot will be hosting the celtic canival – blow up and carney games for adults all day – come joust against your buddies and play skee ball / ring toss etc for st pats prizes – all this fun – live music and shuttles for only a $10 wristband Come Party and Drink with Decoy!
Decoy fans! We are back from an awesome trip to Arizona where we played a full house! Thanks to everyone who came out in Scottsdale to see us! Hopefully we will be back soon! But to all of our fans in Des Moines….who is ready for St.Paddy’s day??? We are! Join us at Mickeys Irish Pub this Friday March 12th at 9pm to pregame with drinking songs and jigs for St. Patricks Day! We are going to get this holiday started a week early and continue all week for Des Moines favorite holiday to celebrate. Come down to Mickeys with your cameras and take pics and video of our performance and upload it to our facebook and maybe you will see your photos get used in promo gear!

Yo Yo Yo! Micah and Chris just landed a show in Scotsdale, AZ at K O’Donnell’s this Friday Feb 26 from 8-11! Should be a party and hope to see ya’ll who are in Scotsdale out there! We are going to Scotsdale on a whim to go see Chris’s brother Mike who live there! It has been quite awhile since we have seen him and we definitely needed to get out of the damn snow here in Iowa and head to the middle of the desert! While we are there we decided that we wanted to play a gig and it will be just Chris and Micah and not the full band. It should be an awesome time meeting new people and having spread our music to a different market we really never intended on hitting up! Hopefully we make some fan out of Scotsdale to carry the decoy flag further! Howdy ya’ll! Chris and Micah will be heading to Phoenix for a fun filled trip Feb. 25th-28th and to play a couple of shows. We have yet to book anything and we are really going for fun and going to play a few gigs on the whim. If anyone has any leads or knows anyone in Phoenix, AZ who owns a venue or any great bars to play in please facebook or tweet us or drop us a line and we would love to play anywhere!
We have been working on new songs and playing all over Des Moines. We are currently trying to get into the 80/35 music festival and would love any help in doing so! thanks to all of our fans who always support and come out to all the shows we play!
First off we have to thank all of our fans that have helped make decoy grow and loved in and around the Des Moines area. We need all of our loyal fans to help us start make noise in bigger ponds! We as decoy want to continue to spread the love and the music to as many people as we can. In order to do this we need your help, the fans.
